Delegation from the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Anbar Visits AAU
Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU), represented by its President Prof. Sari Hamdan, welcomed an academic delegation from the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Anbar in Iraq. The delegation included Prof. Labeeb Al-Dulaimi, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Amer Musharraf, and was received in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Mobaideen, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at AAU. The visit came as part of efforts to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities.
During the meeting, Prof. Sari Hamdan expressed his appreciation for the visit, emphasizing the importance of exchanging expertise between academic institutions in support of the advancement of higher education, particularly in the fields of sports and health sciences.
Following the meeting, Prof. Mohammad Al-Mobaideen accompanied the visiting delegation on a comprehensive tour of the Department of Physical and Health Education. The delegation was introduced to the Faculty’s key facilities, most notably the state-of-the-art Arena Sports Complex, which includes modern training equipment, squash courts, and a fully equipped auditorium.
The tour also included a visit to the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, where the delegation was briefed on the latest technologies and equipment used in the rehabilitation of patients and athletes. The visitors commended the significant development in both infrastructure and academic content at the university.
At the conclusion of the visit, both parties expressed their pride in this fruitful meeting and affirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening academic and research cooperation between the two Faculties. They agreed to pursue joint scientific research initiatives in the fields of sports and health sciences, which would open promising avenues for future collaboration in education, training, and rehabilitation.
