Freshmen Orientation at the Faculty of Law
In a dynamic orientation session, Professor Mosleh Al-Tarawneh, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Law at our University, engaged with incoming students of the faculty. Welcoming them warmly, he delved into the significance of studying law and its profound impact on shaping students' personalities and societal behaviors.
Professor Al-Tarawneh highlighted the crucial role of leadership qualities in law students, both during their academic journey and in their future professional endeavors. He emphasized their noble mission of upholding the principles of legal sovereignty, safeguarding societal security and stability, and actively contributing to the realms of civil and political life.
The Dean shared essential guidelines for success in the study of law during the session. Emphasizing continuous reading, timely preparation for lectures, and consistent attendance, he encouraged students to tap into the expertise of faculty members and actively participate in both academic and extracurricular activities.
Furthermore, Professor Al-Tarawneh provided valuable advice, urging students to take diligent notes during lectures, develop a weekly study plan, and form study groups with their peers. He explored the culture of quality within the faculty, elucidating its vision, mission, goals, and core values crucial for achieving practical success.
The orientation meeting, attended by deputy deans, academic department heads, and faculty members, garnered significant interest from freshmen who valued the insightful guidance offered for their academic and professional journey.
