Forming research teams at “Nursing” Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ahliyya Amman University formed research teams that include members of the faculty, each according to his research interests and specialization.This came in line with recommendations from the university represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research, which always seeks to improve the performance of faculty members in scientific research, as well as to achieve the strategic goals of the faculty, which calls for strengthening the capabilities of faculty members in education, scientific research and leadership.The research teams were formed after an interactive workshop with faculty members, which was presented by Dr. Omar Khreisat and under the supervision of the Dean of the faculty, Prof. Muntaha Gharaibeh who explained that the role of the research team goes much beyond cooperation in conducting research. She explained that projects can conduct a qualitative, societal research based on the priorities of scientific research in Jordan and the world, which achieves sustainable development that is considered a global engine for strategic development in all nations. She noted that research teams also play a key role in Training fresh researchers from faculty members and preparing research projects, as well as discussing results reached by team members in periodic meetings, which facilitates the process of research continuity and development as a result of everyone’s participation in identifying weaknesses and strengths, and that shall facilitate the process of publishing, citations and improving the quality of research in the Faculty of Nursing.
