Forming Faculty Council in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Council held its first meeting on Thursday, 21/10/2010, at the presidency building under the chairmanship of the President of the University. The meeting included considering the functions of the Council which was created to achieve the goals and vision of the University, including: periodic evaluation of the progress of work, the extent of application of the University's policies to ensure quality, considering the academic position of faculties, providing proposals for the development of its curricular and extracurricular programs, preparing pilot studies to provide the investment opportunities available to the University, networking and entering into partnerships with local community, regional and international institutions in the field of research, considering the needs of faculty members, designing plans for the development and enhancing the qualifications of faculty members in the areas of teaching and research, considering issues, and expressing opinion and advice in the fields put forth by the President of the University.
