Formation of the Council of Deans of Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Board of Trustees of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, held a meeting in the University chaired by Mr. Abdul Kareem Kabariti, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and in the presence of the University's founder, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hourani. The Board listened to a briefing by Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, in which he reviewed the achievements of the University for the academic year 2010-2011 and the newly-introduced master's degree programs in telecommunications engineering, business management, MBA and English Language and Literature. The Faculty of Architecture and Design was also created to join the other seven faculties of the University. The Board approved the minutes of the previous meeting. Upon the recommendation of Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the Board approved the appointment of the following deans: 1. Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, Vice President for Academic Affairs. 2. Dr. Maher Sharbajee, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. 3. Dr. Mustafa Yassin, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology. 4. Dr. Hussein Al-Yaseen, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences. 5. Dr. Fawaz Al-Karmi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. 6. Dr Azmi Mansur, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts. 7. Dr. Omar Borini, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law. 8. Dr. Ghaleb Erekat, Acting Dean of the College of Nursing. 9. Dr. Osama Al-Hanaina, Acting Dean of Student Affairs. 10. Dr. Raed Qaqish, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design. 11. Dr. Wisam Braik, Acting Dean of Graduate Studies and Research.
