For the Third Year in A Row, AAU Is Distinguished by the Times University Impact Ranking of 2021 where It Ranks 101-200 Globally in Terms of the Quality of Education
The World Times Organization published today the results of the Times' Ranking of the University Impact Rankings of 2021, whereby AAU ranked 401-600 globally, the third locally and the first among private universities. It is worth noting that AAU has made remarkable progress in most of the criteria for this important global ranking. The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan congratulated the AAU staffs for this achievement and explained that the University is interested in this ranking, which includes all of the sustainable development criteria and seeks to achieve them as part of the AAU's mission. Prof. Hamdan emphasized that the University’s progress in the criteria of this global ranking did not come by pure chance. Rather, it was the fruit of the great and sincere efforts of all University employees, in addition to the continuous support of the Board of Directors headed by Dr. Maher Al-Hourani and His Excellency the Chairman and members of the Board of Trustees.On his part, Dr. Anas Al-Saud, the AAU Assistant President for Accreditation & International Classification Affairs, explained that AAU applied for this ranking for the third year in a row. The University achieved advanced ranks and maintained its position despite the increase in competition from 500 universities in 2018 to more than 1500 universities this year. Dr. Al-Saud said that perhaps the most important achievement the University has realized this year is ranking 101-200 in the standard of quality of education, which is an advanced rank. He added that these results were obtained by the University last year had a major role in achieving the distinguished result for this year. The credit for achieving this goes to the work of everyone at the University, under the direction of the AAU President and the unlimited support of the Chairman and members of the AAU Board of Directors regarding the plan that we have prepared to improve and develop all the ranking criteria. Dr. Al-Saud also affirmed that the University is moving steadily on the global ranking ladder, as it has a presence in all international rankings. He said that the University also participated in the Times’ Ranking of Arab Universities, whose results will be announced in July of this summer. It is worth mentioning that Al-Ahliyya Amman University is ranked among the top 100 Arab universities according to the QS World Ranking.
