Faculty of Pharmacy Participates in the International Conference on Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology

The Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, held in Vienna, Austria. The conference, which took place from November 20th to 21st, 2023, saw participation from over 20 countries worldwide. Representing the university at this prestigious conference were Dr. Ali Mahmoud Al-Sumaidaee and Dr. Sanaa Matalqah from the Department of Pharmaceutics and Technology. Dr. Al-Sumaidaee distinguished himself as a member of the conference's scientific committee and served as a keynote speaker on the first day and as the session chair on the second day. Dr. Matalqah also contributed as a speaker on the first day and was an organizing member of the sessions on the same day. The conference concluded with the honoring of Dr. Al-Sumaidaee, who was chosen as a principal member of the scientific and organizational committee for the third conference scheduled to be held in London, United Kingdom, in October 2024. The university's participation in this conference facilitated an effective exchange of knowledge and innovation in the fields of nanomaterials and nanotechnology, thereby enhancing its position as a leading center for research and development in this area.
