Faculty of Pharmacy Football Team at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Gets Second Place

The Pharmacists Association in Jordan organized a Refreshment Football Championship for all faculties of pharmacy in public and private Jordanian universities during the period from April until June. The team of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Al-Ahliyya Amman University took part in this Championship. The final match was between the faculty of pharmacy teams of the University of Jordan and Al-Ahliyya Amman University in the Jubilee Hall, under the patronage of the Chairman of the Pharmacists Association and members of the Association and in presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Dr. Ghalib Oraikat. The championship was characterized by strong competition and sportsmanship exhibited by the Faculty of Pharmacy team which indicated well-preparation. Al-Ahliyya Amman University team won second place. Students participation in extracurricular activities stems from Al-Ahliyya Amman University mission to promote sports and youth in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II vision supporting youth and sports. At the end of the Championship, Chairman of Pharmacists Association, Dr. Mohammed Sherif Abbabneh, awarded the cup and medals to the to first place winners from the University of Jordan and to second place winners from Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
