Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Organizes Celebration on the Occasion of International Nurses Day

The Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a distinguished celebration on the occasion of International Nurses Day, coordinated by Dr. Enas Badr, and attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Khaldoun Hamdan, along with a number of faculty members and students, in appreciation of the humanitarian and professional role of nursing in serving society and advancing healthcare. The event commenced with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty, who emphasized the importance of the nursing profession and its pivotal role within the healthcare system. He praised the efforts of nursing students and faculty members and stressed the importance of fostering a sense of belonging and pride in this noble humanitarian profession. The celebration featured a variety of activities, including presentations and introductory videos highlighting the faculty’s activities and the nursing profession, in addition to a short theatrical performance prepared by students. Outstanding students were also honored in recognition of their academic excellence. The event was marked by a positive atmosphere and distinguished interaction among attendees, reflecting a strong sense of pride and appreciation for the nursing profession and its noble humanitarian mission. This celebration comes as part of the Faculty of Nursing’s commitment at Al-Ahliyya Amman University to supporting its students, enhancing the status of the nursing profession, and highlighting its vital role in advancing healthcare and serving the community.
