Faculty of Information Technology at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organizes workshop on “Cyber Security Awareness”

The Faculty of Information Technology organized a workshop entitled Cyber Security Awareness, delivered by Dr. Oraib Abu Al-Ghanam of the Department of Networks and Information Security. The workshop was attended by the Faculty Dean, Dr. Omar Al-Odwan, and the teaching staff. The workshop addressed various topics on awareness in cybersecurity and protection measures in the event of cyber attacks and ways of protecting personal information. It also aimed at clarifying the concept of social engineering, in addition to increasing the ability to distinguish between e-mail and reliable websites on one hand, and unreliable websites used in Phishing operations, on the other.
