Faculty of Information Technology at AAU Launches Ramadan Charity Campaign to Support the Local Community
In line with its commitment to social responsibility and fostering a spirit of solidarity and volunteerism, the Faculty of Information Technology at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a charitable day for the distribution of food parcels during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative was led by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, with the participation of faculty members and students.
The campaign involved distributing essential food supplies to underprivileged families in the Al-Baqa’a Camp and Ain Al-Basha areas, aiming to support them throughout the holy month and to embody the spirit of giving and community collaboration.
Prof. Al-Qatawneh emphasized that this initiative reflects the faculty’s dedication to social responsibility and its efforts to promote values of compassion and human solidarity among students and the wider community.
Participants from both the faculty and the student body expressed their happiness in taking part in such a noble cause, highlighting the importance of these initiatives in cultivating a strong sense of volunteerism and community belonging.
It is worth noting that the Faculty of Information Technology organizes similar events annually as part of its mission to instill social responsibility and encourage students to engage in charitable activities and community service.
