Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosts Iftar for orphans

The Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in cooperation with the Office of Career Qualification of King Abdullah II Fund, hosted Iftar meal for orphans in Salt area in the presence of a large number of faculty members and administrative staff of the Faculty of Engineering and a number of the Office volunteer students. After Iftar, students presented a variety of sketches for children, including face painting and games. This activity comes within (Welcome Ramadan) initiative, which is held annually in the holy month of Ramadan and includes a number of charitable and humanitarian activities that aim to foster the concept of volunteer work and social solidarity and promote good values among students. At the end of the event, Dr. Wael Awad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, presented souvenirs and prizes to the participating children.
