Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts Iftar Banquet for Orphans

Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in collaboration with the Functional Qualification Office/ King Abdullah II Fund, hosted Iftar banquet for orphans from Salt area in the presence of a large number of faculty members and administrative staff of the Faculty of Engineering and a number of volunteer students of the Office. After Iftar, the volunteer students presented various activities for children, including face painting and entertainment games. This activity is in the context of “Hal Hilalak Ya Ramadan” Initiative held annually during the Holy Month of Ramadan, which includes several charitable and humanitarian activities that aim to foster the concept of volunteer work and social solidarity and promote goodness and charity among students. At the end of the activity, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Wael Awad, distributed souvenirs and prizes to the participant children.
