Faculty of Engineering at AAU Organizes a Scientific Day in Collaboration with the Jordan Engineers Association

The Faculty of Engineering at AAU, in collaboration with the Young Engineers Committee of the Jordan Engineers Association and its branch in Balqa Governorate, held a Scientific Day on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Al-Hourani Center Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, who delivered a welcoming speech praising the efforts of the Jordan Engineers Association in enhancing the skills of recent engineering graduates and preparing them for the job market. The event also featured a speech by Engineer Abdul Mohsen Al-Kharabsheh, Vice President of the Balqa branch of the Jordan Engineers Association. The Scientific Day included a series of lectures on the following topics: • Modern Job Fields • Sustainability and Carbon Footprint • LinkedIn and CV Preparation • Benefits and Services of the Jordan Engineers Association The event also featured scientific competitions, and symbolic prizes were awarded to the winners at the conclusion of the activities.
