Faculty of Architecture and Design Participates in the Opening Session of the First International Conference: Sports and Health in the Era of Change- Scientific Insights and Smart Applications

Dr. Saba Naseerat, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at AAU, participated as a keynote speaker in the opening session of the First International Conference titled Sports and Health in the Era of Change: Scientific Insights and Smart Applications. The conference was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal and hosted by Jadara University in Irbid. The conference brought together innovators, researchers, and policymakers to explore the intersection of sports, health, technology, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Naseerat’s presentation was titled “Reshaping Sustainable Cities: Digital Innovation to Promote Sports and Health in the Era of Change.” In her speech, she shared insights on how smart urban planning, digital transformation, and sustainability contribute to building healthier and more inclusive communities. The session was moderated by Muhannad Al-Mahadin, Executive Editor of the Sports Section at Roya TV. Participants discussed key shifts in the modern concept of sports, highlighting the role of digital innovation and smart technology in enhancing health and athletic performance, ultimately supporting community well-being.
