Faculty of Architecture and Design Hosts Orientation for New Students for the Academic Year 2024–2025

The Faculty of Architecture and Design held an orientation event for new students for the academic year 2024–2025 on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Mahmoud Darwish Auditorium. The event began with the national anthem and a video introducing the educational environment and academic programs offered by the faculty. Dr. Saba Nusirat, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a welcome address, emphasizing the faculty's policies, vision, and core values. She assured the students that their decision to join the faculty was a wise one, as it would enable them to acquire both theoretical and practical skills essential for their future careers. Dr. Faten Al-Jazzar, Chair of the Faculty's Website Committee, provided a brief overview of the faculty's website, demonstrating how students could access academic programs, study plans, and guidelines. Following this, Ms. Zina Abu Al-Samen, Director of the Career Guidance and Alumni Office, introduced the services and support provided by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The students were also familiarized with the services offered by AAU Counseling and Psychological Support Center, which include psychological consultations, therapy, and academic and emotional problem-solving support for students and their families.
