Faculty of Architecture and Design Explores Innovative Teaching Methods in Recent Workshop

The Faculty of Architecture and Design recently hosted its fifth session, "Developing Teaching and Learning Methods in Arts and Design Disciplines through Design Thinking: An Approach in Modern Intellectual Trends." Dr. Hanan El-Sheikh, a faculty member in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design, conducted the workshop via Microsoft Teams platform. Throughout the workshop, Dr. El-Sheikh delved into contemporary intellectual trends shaping teaching and learning methods. She emphasized their alignment with the rapid technological changes in arts and design fields, highlighting the need for updating and developing educational curricula. This evolution aims to empower knowledge, enhance competencies, and cultivate skills among students, ultimately preparing them for competitiveness in the job market. This workshop is part of the ongoing academic season initiated by the faculty on October 26, 2023. It features a series of workshops and scientific lectures presented by faculty members.
