Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts Honorary Ceremony

The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted a ceremony in honor of faculty members, administrative staff, outstanding students, and sponsors of the Faculty in the presence of the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed. In a speech delivered by the President of the University, Dr. Hamed welcomed the valued guests and expressed his pleasure to meet the students of the Faculty of Architecture and Design. He valued the remarkable initiatives and achievements accomplished by the Faculty. He noted his wish for film, television and theatre design major to be an outstanding feature of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the higher education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Dr. Nasser Abu Anza, thanked all who participated in the third anniversary of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, and reviewed the academic and extracurricular achievements and activities of the Faculty, including the First Arab Creativity Conference, which saw wide participation by well-informed creative youth. Several scientific workshops and lectures were held and academicians and artists were hosted in support of knowledge. Dr. Abu Anza lauded the Faculty for its academic achievements, such as the establishment of the Faculty journal, and extracurricular activities, including trips and art galleries and initiatives held inside and outside the University. Finally, Dr. Abu Anza thanked the companies supporting the Faculty progress . The ceremony included lyrical and recreational sketches as well as cultural contests. At the end of the ceremony, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University presented commemorative shields to the faculty, administrative staff, students and sponsors of the Faculty.
