Faculty of Architecture and Design and Arena Complex host Amman Comedy Club

The Department of Cinematic, Television, and Theatrical Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, in partnership with the Arena Complex at Amman University, organized a panel discussion entitled "The Dramatic Significance of Comedy." The session was presented by Mr. Yazan Abu Al-Rous, the head of the Amman Comedy Club, on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Arena Studios. The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Karim Fadel, the head of the Department of Cinematic, Television, and Theatrical Design. Mr. Yazan Abu Al-Rous provided a detailed explanation about the club, its orientations, and the impact of comedy in addressing negative phenomena in society. He also discussed the requirements of comedy production and the obstacles it faces, such as the scarcity of written dramatic texts. A comprehensive discussion took place between the college students and the guests.
