Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University holds a series of awareness lectures on quality assurance standards

The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, under the supervision of the Dean, Prof. Ghaleb Oraikat, and coordinated by the Vice Dean for Accreditation and Quality, Prof. Zeina Al-Alami, organized a series of awareness lectures on quality assurance standards targeting academic and administrative staff. The initiative comes as part of the faculty’s preparations for the visit of the expert committee tasked with renewing the quality assurance certificate for the 2021–2025 period. The lectures aimed to enhance faculty and staff understanding of the content of quality standards and mechanisms for their implementation, thereby reinforcing a culture of quality and academic and administrative excellence within the faculty and demonstrating its ongoing commitment to applying recognized best practices. Heads of the standards presented specialized talks and presentations that addressed key components of the self-assessment process, including an introduction to policies and procedures, the strategic plan, governance, teaching and learning, scientific research, financial, physical and human resources, students, community service and quality assurance management. The sessions were held according to a schedule that ran from Sunday, 28/9/2025, through Thursday, 2/10/2025, with the aim of engaging all staff members in discussing and clarifying the requirements of each standard.
