Faculty of Agricultural Technology Participates in the International Conference on Plant Molecular Biology and Genetics

The Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Dr. Rasha Al-Tarawneh, participated as a keynote speaker in the International Conference on Plant Molecular Biology and Genetics, held in Cairo and organized by the Faculty of Agriculture at Cairo University. The conference was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ayman Ashour, the President of Cairo University, Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadek, and supervised by the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Mahmoud El-Saeed. The conference brought together leading scientists and researchers from prominent international universities and institutes to strengthen scientific research and foster engagement with global research schools. Discussions covered recent advances in plant diversity and genetic resources, plant biotechnology, genetics of abiotic and biotic stress tolerance, plant omics sciences, as well as modern biotechnological techniques and future trends toward sustainable agriculture. The conference concluded with recommendations emphasizing the importance of strengthening joint scientific collaboration and developing shared research programs that support innovation and address future agricultural challenges.
