Faculty of Agricultural Technology Participates in the 16th ARENENA Conference in Amman

The Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Dr. Rasha Al-Tarawneh, participated in the 16th conference of the Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (ARENENA), held in Amman in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), under the theme “Digital Solutions for Water in Agriculture: Opportunities and Challenges.” The participation of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, as a member of ARENENA, aligns with its vision of advancing agricultural innovation and digital transformation. This reflects the University’s commitment to supporting agricultural scientific research and enhancing the skills of students and researchers. The conference addressed the latest developments in water resource management using smart technologies and modern irrigation systems. Its sessions featured technical presentations and successful regional case studies, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in improving productivity, developing water monitoring systems, and supporting agricultural decision-making in the context of resource scarcity and climate change.
