Exhibition of the Artist Dr. Ahmed Fathi of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Opened at the Royal Cultural Center
Under the auspices of HE Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, an exhibition of the faculty member artist Dr. Ahmed Fathi was opened in the Hall of the Royal Cultural Center. The artist tackles human concerns in dealing with nature and human relationship with the land through plastic art paintings that reflect the nature of the Egyptian farmer and his tools through which he struggles for a better life. Black and white colors are predominant in the paintings of artist Dr. Ahmed Fathi, which translate his art ideas and vision. The artist depicted the features of farmers, villages, and rural housings, and the connotations of the cooperative relationship between man and man, and between man and pets, which share man’s life, effort, fatigue and love for the land and water. The inauguration ceremony was attended by deans and faculty members at the University, as well as a group of artists, professors, critics, and people interested in culture and arts, who commended the language of the artist in expressing life through paintings and their embodiment. Debates were held in the Royal Cultural Center on expressionism adopted by the artist. Certain debates noted the advanced stage reflected by artist Dr. Ahmed Fathi compared to the previous exhibitions hosted by the artist through his recent paintings included in the exhibition. The artist used unconventional modern art techniques that characterized the show in general.
