Establishment of the Center for Oral Disease Studies at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The College of Dentistry at Al-Ahliyya Amman University has established a Center for Oral Disease Studies (CODS). This center is in line with the university's vision of achieving research and academic excellence. It is the first of its kind in the region, specializing in oral and dental diseases and maxillofacial research. Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the University's President, emphasized the importance of high-quality applied scientific research, especially collaborative research with prestigious international universities. Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Yazan Husouna, explained that CODS aims to conduct high-quality research in the field of oral and maxillofacial diseases. The center will collaborate with local and international research entities and global universities. It aims to enhance the research environment at the college and involve students in ongoing research projects. He added that CODS is equipped with all the necessary research facilities for various areas related to oral, dental, and maxillofacial diseases.
