Equipping a handicraft workshop for Rua’a Association for the Blind by Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Under the auspices of HE Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the opening ceremony of the handicraft workshop of Rua’a Association for the Blind will be held on Thursday, 12/7/2012, at 6:00 PM, at the headquarters of the Association in Deir Alla, Balqa Governorate. The workshop has been equipped through a generous donation by the University. The workshop was equipped to serve nearly 150 blind persons to enable them to support themselves and their families, help them to work and be productive, and to engage in the community. This initiative is in line with the University contribution in the activities of the various segments of the local community to achieve the University objectives and mission.
