Enlightenment meeting for new students at the Faculty of Supportive Medical Sciences

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Tanani, Dean of the Faculty of Supportive Medical Sciences, the Academic Advisory Committee at the Faculty organized the enlightenment meeting for new students for the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023, on Wednesday, 22/3/2023 at Nizar Al-Qabbani Amphitheater. The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Tanani, began the meeting with a welcoming speech in which he spoke with the students and gave them some of his personal experience in the fields of science and education, as he showed his keenness to guide them with everything they may need during their studies and stressed the importance of their communication with academic advisors and encouraged them to participate in student clubs and research clubs that build their personalities and develop their minds. He also showed them the possibilities and means offered by the university to make their university journey more beautiful and beneficial. Dr. Khalid Al-Qaisi, Vice Dean for Accreditation and Quality Affairs, gave a presentation in which he addressed the vision, mission and core values of the university and faculty. He also touched on introducing students to their university rights and duties which emanate from the ethical charter adopted by the university and gave an introductory presentation about the university's website on how to obtain all academic and general instructions for students. This meeting included several activities, including honoring outstanding students in the faculty from all departments and academic levels, and other recreational activities performed by faculty students from all disciplines under the supervision of the Academic Advising Committee represented by Dr. Alaa Shreim in order to integrate new students into university life.
