Dr. Tayseer Abu Odeh of Al-Ahliyya Amman University participates in events of Sheikh Hamad Translation Award Foundation

Dr. Tayseer Abu Odeh of the Department of English language and literature at Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in a research paper on Palestinian comedy and lamentation policies in Ibrahim Nasrallah’s novel, at the invitation of Sheikh Hamad Translation Award Foundation. The writer Ibrahim Nasrallah, American translator Nancy Roberts, and Dr. Ahmed Rahahlah of the University of Applied Sciences (moderator) participated in the seminar.Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding in Doha, Qatar, was founded in 2015 and is a global award supervised by a board of trustees and independent jury. The award seeks to honor translators and value their role in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation among the nations and peoples of the world.
