Dr. Sadeq Hamed meets Dean and Faculty Members of the Faculty of Engineering

Within the series of the regular meetings that are held at the University, Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University met the Dean and faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University welcomed the attendees and expressed his pride in his fellow faculty members at the University. He confirmed to them that these meetings will be repeated in order to foster dialogue and hear different viewpoints and suggestions that are in the public interest and which support the University progress. This requires work as one team honestly and sincerely. Dr. Hamed stated that an educational institution is characterized by its faculty members. He stressed the need for the faculty member to develop to keep up with development in view of the continuous change and evolvement in the field of science. The University administration will not hesitate to support and encourage scientific research, which in turn will enhance the educational process which requires effort and dedication. He added that the University provides and delivers the best services for its students in order to get remarkable outputs. He also pointed out to the need for a comprehensive review of the programs in order to offer new disciplines to meet the various needs. The President of the University also suggested holding a conference or workshop at the University to talk about community violence. The President of the University answered the inquiries that have been raised by the audience. At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty thanked the President of the University for this meeting, which allows faculty members to confer with the President of the University and express different opinions that help provide suggestions that would enhance the teaching process and achieve excellence.
