Dr. Qumouh from the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences Participates in the Muscat Ophthalmology and Surgery Conference

Dr. Yazan Qumouh, Head of the Optometry Department at the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, participated in the Muscat Ophthalmology and Surgery Conference held in Muscat, Oman, from November 27, 2024, to November 30, 2024. During the conference, Dr. Qumouh delivered a lecture on guidelines for controlling myopia in children and supervised a session on the use of therapeutic medications by optometrists. Additionally, Dr. Qumouh held a meeting with Dr. Sheikha Noora Al Qasimi, President of the Emirates Society of Ophthalmologists, to explore potential collaboration between the society and Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
