Dr. Najwa Qundaqji Participates in Leading a Training Workshop on "The Art of Fashion Design"

Dr. Najwa Qandaqji, a faculty member in the Department of Cinematic, Television, and Theaterical Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, participated in leading a training workshop titled "The Art of Fashion Design." During the workshop, Dr.Qandaqji presented material on the history of fashion, its development stages, and the principles underlying the art of design. Participants applied these concepts by designing four fashion pieces for imagined dramatic characters from the Canaanite period. The workshop took place over two days, on July 13 and 14, 2024. It was organized by the independent organization "Bayt Bayut," a youth-based charitable association established in 2011. The organization’s projects stem from its firm belief in the power of live improvisational role-playing and games as effective tools for building skills, communication, conflict resolution, education, decision-making, and addressing social and political issues.
