Dr. Maher Al-Hourani Patronizes the Opening of Career Day 2026 at Al-Ahliyya Amman University with the Participation of Over 100 Companies and Institutions
Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, patronized the opening ceremony of Career Day 2026, held yesterday, Tuesday, at the Arena Hall. The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Sari Hamdan; the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ahmad Hamdan; deans of faculties; members of the academic and administrative staff; as well as large numbers of students and alumni who gathered to explore the employment and training opportunities offered by participating companies and institutions.
The event was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs (Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office), with the participation of more than 100 companies and institutions representing a wide range of sectors, including business and commerce, industry and engineering, healthcare, technology and innovation, tourism and agriculture, as well as education, training, and professional consultancy in Jordan.
This Career Day reflects the university’s commitment to supporting students and graduates and facilitating their transition into the labor market by providing genuine employment opportunities for students and members of the local community across various disciplines. It also enabled direct engagement with employers, on-the-spot job interviews, and access to career counseling, training, and professional development programs aimed at preparing youth for their future careers.
The university emphasized that this event serves as a key platform for strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, contributing to aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs at both the local and regional levels, and enhancing the employability of students and graduates.
Representatives of participating companies and institutions expressed their appreciation for the university’s organization of this distinguished event, praising the high level of coordination, the strong turnout of students and graduates, and the opportunity it provides to identify and recruit talented young individuals.
