Dr. Maher Al-Hourani gives a seminar on the campus of Al-Ahliyya Amman University under the title” Investments Opportunities during the Economic Crisis”

Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hourani Investment Group and Al-Ahliyya Amman University held a seminar on Sunday 13/11/2022 in the Business School of the university entitled “Investments Opportunities in the Economic Crisis”, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, Dean of the Business School, Prof. Fayez Haddad and Mr. Raed Abu Osbeh, Account Manager of Windsor Brokers.This seminar was organized by the Business School as per the request of Dr. Maher Al-Hourani to discuss the prevailing global economic crisis along with its consequences. Henceforth, Dr. Maher explained to the students of the Business School as well as the attendees, which consisted of Heads of Departments, academic and administrative members, the effects of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the US-Chinese tensions. In addition, he discussed the current global status from a financial and economic perspective, stating that the economic crisis is continuing and may cause significant volatility in the global financial markets, in which requires traders to undertake risk management measures especially in the foreign exchange trading market, or what is known as Forex, the largest financial trading market in terms of trading volume and liquidity. Dr. Al-Hourani also noted that the specter of the next global crisis began to appear again as the beginning of COVID-19 along with the catastrophic closures that followed due to global health security, disasters were occurring in the core of the global economy at all levels. Regarding his expectations for the dollar, he hinted that the dollar may remain strong throughout this year 2022, before it begins to decline at the end of 2023.Mr. Raed Abu Osbeh, Account Manager of Windsor Brokers discussed the crises our societies are facing, including the inflation crisis, the energy and food crisis and the deterioration of economic growth while mentioning the most prominent solutions to fight the economic recession and instability.
