Dr. Maher Al-Horani Honors the Winners of the Second Wafaa Sports Competition
The AAU Chairman of Board of Directors, Dr. Maher Al-Horani honored the students who won in the Second Wafaa Sport Competition of the late Dr. Ahmad Al-Horani. This event took place on Tuesday, 19/12/2017 in the Arena Club. At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Horani welcomed the winners and thanked them for their active participation in the following championships: Volleyball, Billiards, Play stations and swimming. He also promised to hold more cultural, artistic and social activities during the academic year 2017-2018. Meanwhile, Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, the Dean of Student Affairs congratulated the winners in the top three ranks. The honored winners in their games are listed below:- The Volleyball Championship: the first place belonged to Hazem Al-Masalmeh; the second place went to Haithem Ali Hussein and the third one was achieved by Al-Zein Ribhi Al-Heet.- The Billiards Championship: the first place belonged to Aysar Safa; the second rank to Hasan Azhar and the third rank to Hasanein Ali Thiyab.- The Play Station Championship: the first rank went to Ibrahim Muhammad; the second rank to Abed Al-Kareem Makhloutah and the third rank to Diyaa Ishqarat. - The Swimming Championship for males:50 meter freestyle: the first rank belonged to Abdullah Bahaa; the second rank to Muhannad Al-Khateeb and the third rank to Abed Al-Rahman Abu Hawas.25 meter freestyle: the first rank: Abdullah Bulos; the second rank to “Muhammad Ammar” Al-Karrad and the third rank to Abed Al-Rahman Abu Hawas.- The Swimming Championship for females: 25 meter freestyle: the first rank was scored by Farah Wael Asfour; the second rank by Sura Al-Fatalawi and the third rank by Deema Ammar Ayed. - The Billiards Championship: the first rank went to Abed Al-Rahman Al-Du’eij; the second rank to Yousef Al-Satory and the third rank to Muhammad Al-Dhabet.
