Regarding the university's vision and newly introduced specializations, Dr. Atiyyat said: "The university reflects a forward-looking vision and a commitment to academic excellence as a pioneering educational institution that always seeks to keep pace with developments in science and technology. This is clearly demonstrated through the introduction of several new specializations at both the bachelor's and master's levels, in response to the changing needs of the local, regional, and global job markets. Recently, the university has introduced the following academic programs: • Master’s in Business Technology • Bachelor’s in Dental Technology / Faculty of Dentistry • Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy / Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences • Bachelor’s in Game Design and Development / Faculty of Information Technology • Bachelor’s in Chinese-English and Bachelor’s in German-English / Faculty of Arts and Sciences • Bachelor’s in Electric Vehicle Engineering and Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering / Faculty of Engineering Dr. Atiyyat congratulated the graduates, saying: "I congratulate you on behalf of myself and my colleagues, the faculty, and administrative staff, and express our pride in your graduation, which is the fruit of the arduous efforts you have exerted over years of study and perseverance. He concluded his speech by saying: "We have the right to be proud of our university, which has achieved advanced and distinguished ranks in university rankings both internationally and locally. Allow me to invite the esteemed university president to highlight this achievement." Professor Sari Hamdan, the university president, then gave a brief speech about the university maintaining its lead among private Jordanian universities and ranking third among both public and private Jordanian universities, advancing 40 positions to be within the 801-850 category globally in the QS World University Rankings for 2025. Additionally, the university ranked first among Jordanian public and private universities, eleventh in the Arab world, and within the 201-300 category globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for 2024. These achievements affirm the university’s commitment to academic and research excellence and reflect the success of its strategy in developing its programs and providing an advanced educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation. The university president then presented the QS ranking certificate, awarded to the university for its outstanding achievement, to Dr. Maher Al-Hourani amidst resounding applause from the attendees. Graduate Fatima Abbas from the Faculty of Pharmacy then delivered the graduation speech, starting by praising God for the gift of intellect and thought. She greeted the event's patron, the university president, faculty, administrative staff, graduates, and their families, saying: "The best greeting I extend to you today is the greeting of Islam, the religion of peace, mercy, humanity, and love." She continued: "Our joy today, however great, is not complete. We live in days of helplessness and lack of means, and our hearts break every day for what we see and hear. The calamity of our brothers in Gaza is immense, and all we hear from them is 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to God), with remarkable resilience and divine victory." She added: "We did not gather today just to celebrate our success, but to honor the souls of those who did not live to witness their day of success, those whose lives were brutally taken, especially the students of knowledge in all of Palestine, and especially in Gaza. Oh God, the affliction has prolonged, the ordeal has intensified, and the calamity has grown severe, so relieve our people in Palestine, O God. O God, grant them victory in their weakness, for they have no helper but You." In her speech, Fatima emphasized that failure is the best teacher when there is the will to achieve success. She spoke of her experience in studying, where she graduated from Barstow Community College in California in 2018, then returned to Jordan and began the second part of her academic journey, moving from one major to another, and from one university to another, until she finally settled in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in 2020. She dedicated her graduation to the soul of her father, expressing gratitude to her family, friends in Jordan and abroad, and her professors. She then congratulated her fellow graduates, saying: "This is not the end of the road. I don't know what God has written in your destinies, nor do I know if you have charted a course for your next destination. But know that the path to success and striving is filled with challenges and is only suited for those with determination. Dreams become reality in proportion to your insistence on them, and the story of success is not told by those who surrendered to failure and remained imprisoned in regret. And know that supplication is the essence of worship and can bring about miracles." The ceremony was hosted by student Bara’ Hasania from the Faculty of Engineering. At the end of the ceremony, the event's patron, Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, handed out certificates to the graduates and presented awards to the outstanding students.
