Dr. Al-Hourani Honors Al-Ahliyya Amman University Choir for their Outstanding Performance at Jerash Festival 2026

Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, honored members of the University Choir, along with its supervisors and technical team, in recognition of their outstanding participation in the 2026 Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts. The ceremony was attended by University President Professor Dr. Ahmad Hamdan and University Advisor Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan. The Al-Ahliyya Amman University Choir delivered a distinguished performance during the festival, presenting a diverse selection of Jordanian folk songs and musical pieces. The performance received an enthusiastic response from the audience, who praised the ensemble’s artistic excellence, as well as the diversity and creativity showcased throughout the performance. Dr. Al-Hourani praised the choir’s outstanding performance, emphasizing that the participation of University students in national cultural and artistic events reflects the University’s commitment to supporting student talent, developing their abilities, and strengthening their presence at national events. He noted that such participation contributes to showcasing the creativity of Jordanian youth and highlighting the country’s cultural identity. For his part, University President Professor Dr. Ahmad Hamdan commended the high artistic standard demonstrated by the Al-Ahliyya Amman University Choir during its participation in the 2026 Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts. He emphasized that the choir’s participation reflects the diverse talents and creative abilities of the University’s students across various cultural and artistic fields. The recognition also acknowledged the efforts of the choir members, supervisors, and technical team in ensuring the success of the University’s participation. Special recognition was given to Mr. Nader Sweidan, Supervisor of Artistic Activities, and Mr. Fadi Al-Nouri, in appreciation of their role in supervising the choir and supporting its participation in the festival’s events.
