Distinguished achievements of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Fencing Team players in the West Asian Championship

Al-Ahliyya Amman University Fencing Team players succeeded in winning 3 medals in the West Asian Fencing Championship for the under twenty age groups, which is hosted by the Jordanian Fencing Federation in its hall at Al-Hussein Youth City in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.Our player Shahed Al-Kloub concluded her participation in the tournament after winning the Silver Medal in the Epee weapon in the singles tournament for females and winning the Gold Medal in the female under-20 team championships for the Epee weapon along with the players Leen Shannak, Ban Khatatbeh and Dina Al-Mansi. While Abdullah Al-Tahla succeeded in winning the Bronze Medal in the singles tournament for males in the Sabre weapon for the under-20 category. By this distinguished winning, Al-Ahliyya Amman University players contributed in ranking Jordan in the first place during this championship that witnessed the largest participation in the history of the West Asian Championships with the participation of approximately 150 male and female players representing 11 countries: Palestine, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan.
