Discussion of graduation projects for higher diploma students in digital educational design

The first group of higher diploma students in digital educational design discussed their graduation projects, which were characterized by their use of the latest teaching strategies based on integrating digital technology into the learning process. The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Qusai Shambour, praised the outcomes of the program, which has been introduced for the first time and exclusively in the Middle East at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. Dr. Aseel Al Ajlouni praised the efforts of the graduates and the excellence of their projects, where graduate Jumana Zayed has made teaching Islamic education more enjoyable and exciting by employing a learning strategy through redesigning textbook content in the form of digital videos using state-of-the-art digital content design software. Graduate Wissam Haymour changed the learning method of scientific concepts among ninth graders by employing augmented reality technology, one of the world's leading modern technologies. Graduate Rahaf Abu Jouda employed the strategy of knowledge journeys across the web to teach mathematics. The Assistant Dean of Princess Tharwat Middle University College, student Ayat Al Khatib presented a special project that employs the e-learning platform (Model) to teach the computer course to the college students.Shambour honored the program's outstanding students for their scientific and research production, and their achievement that exceeded the requirements of the program and in just eight months.As for scientific research, the Dean of the Faculty praised the excellence of two students who produced two distinguished research papers for a scientific magazine classified within the database (Scobs) derived from their projects, which confirms the excellence of the program in achieving its outputs. On the role of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in reaching this advanced level, Shambour mentioned providing financial and academic support to students, as well as flexible working hours in line with the schedules of working students. He stressed that the relationship between the Faculty of Educational Sciences and the community is reflected in its participation in the preparation of qualified teachers and educational leaders that the faculty is constantly working to rehabilitate and develop, in addition to its research contributions to the development of this sector.
