Department of Interior Design Organizes a Scientific Visit to Abdeen Industrial Foundation

The Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a scientific visit for students of the Tourism Interior Design course to the Abdeen Industrial Foundation in the Bayader - Wadi Al-Seer area on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The visit was supervised by the course instructor, Dr. Mazen Arabasi, and the department's administrative staff member, Hadeel Abu Al-Sundus. During the visit, students learned about the correct layout of industrial kitchen plans (production kitchens for hotels and restaurants). They were introduced to the tools used in production kitchens, with detailed and clear explanations provided. The kitchen contained a wide range of appliances distributed over three floors. The aim of this visit was to enable students to connect drawing plans with practical reality. It aligns with the faculty's goals of interacting and integrating with local and international institutions. Additionally, it provided an opportunity for joint cooperation between the Faculty of Architecture and Design and both global and local institutions, fostering an open, sustainable knowledge environment that supports creativity and innovation.
