Delegation from University West -Sweden Visits AAU to Strengthen Academic Collaboration under Erasmus+ Program

As part of the ongoing partnership within the Erasmus+ Program, Al-Ahliyya Amman University welcomed an academic delegation from University West - Sweden to explore avenues for enhancing academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The visiting delegation included Dr. Mikael Eriksson, Head of the Department of Engineering Science, Dr. Lina Gharaibeh, and Dr. Bassam Massouh. They were received by Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. The visit featured a guided campus tour, including key facilities such as the Faculty of Engineering. The delegation also held a series of meetings with faculty members to discuss areas of shared research interest, potential collaboration projects, and opportunities for academic exchange for both students and staff within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program. This visit follows the successful delegation from Al-Ahliyya Amman University to University West in April 2024, which included Dr. Fayrouz Abu Sweilem, Director of the Global Engagement Center, Dr. Sandra Al-Matarneh, Eng. Ahmad Hourani, Director of the Marketing and Communication Unit, and Eng. Tareq Al-Khreisat.
