Delegation from Al-Ahliyya Amman University visits Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB)
A delegation from Al-Ahliyya Amman University visited on Tuesday the Jordanian Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) in the Dhlail region to learn about the Bureau's experience in designing and developing machines, equipment, and technology related to various sectors. The director of the center Brigadier General Engineer Ayman Al-Batran received the university delegation, consisting of Professor Dr. Anas Al Saud, Assistant President of the University, Professor Dr. Omar Al-Odwan, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Mu'tasim Abdul Jaber, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Moataz Al-Dabei, from the Faculty of University. The visit began with a presentation by Engineer Ratib Abu Al-Ragheb, head of the Sales and Business Activities Division, about the Bureau and its activities and affiliates. During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways of collaborating between JODDB Bureau and the University, its faculties, and the Center for Innovation and Excellence. The university delegation was taken on a field tour in which they visited a group of companies affiliated with the JODDB Bureau. The meeting concluded with the development of an action plan for a range of areas of cooperation, which will be implemented by competent teams from the two sides. These areas include the fields of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, cybersecurity, design and manufacture of medical devices and equipment, in addition to adopting the pioneering ideas of university students in various disciplines.
