Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Meets with New Students

The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Ahmad Hamdan, welcomed first- and second-year students from the Dentistry programs, Oral and Dental Surgery and Dental Technology, at the start of the 2024-2025 academic year. The meeting took place at the faculty building, beginning with the national anthem and a welcome by the session moderator, Lecturer Dana Al-Sharaireh, who greeted the Dean, faculty members, and students. Introductory videos about the two programs were also shown. In his speech, Professor Hamdan extended a warm welcome to the students, wishing them a year of success and progress. He highlighted the faculty’s academic programs, the resources available to students, and the advanced educational facilities. The Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to academic and ethical standards throughout their studies. He encouraged new students to utilize the developmental opportunities offered by the faculty and stressed the significance of participating in student activities to build both personal and professional skills. Professor Hamdan also addressed the challenges faced by second-year students, offering guidance on preparing for advanced courses and practical training. He praised their achievements in their first year and congratulated them on their progress, underscoring the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and ethics during their practical training. Faculty members were present at the meeting and introduced themselves, their specialties, and their roles in ensuring an excellent academic and practical experience for the students. They also motivated students to leverage the academic resources and support provided by the faculty. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where students expressed their satisfaction and eagerness to learn more about the faculty's academic life. The Dean reaffirmed the faculty's open-door policy to support students in achieving success and excellence.
