Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design meets faculty members

On Thursday, 19/02/2014, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Dr. Ali Abdullah, met faculty members and congratulated them on the student results for the first semester. Dr. Abdullah welcomed the new faculty members. He hoped that the second semester will saw the achievement of exceptional initiatives and academic excellence.Dr. Abdullah underscored the importance of scientific research and scientific promotions in order to raise the level of the academic staff of the Faculty to the highest ranks. In the same context, he referred to the First International Conference of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, which will be held by late April this year, in partnership with the Engineers Association. Dr. Abdullah indicated the preparations for holding the Conference on its scheduled date.On the other hand, Dr. Abdullah called for interaction with the anti-smoking initiative and eliminating this discourteous conduct, which has detrimental health effects. He called the faculty members to take part in the campaign dedicated to donating clothes to those in need and urged the students to participate in this campaign once its date is announced.
