Dean of Architecture and Design Speaks at Petra University's Scientific Day

Dr. Saba Nseirat, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, played a key role as a speaker at the Scientific Day of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Petra University, held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The theme of the event was "The Intersection between Heritage and Climate Change." Dr. Nseirat presented on the joint research project between AAU and Mutah University titled "Developing a Framework for the Integration and Implementation of Green Technologies in Residential Buildings in Jordan." The project aims to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency in homes by devising a framework for integrating and implementing green technologies, with a specific focus on photovoltaic solar energy technology within residential buildings in Jordan. The lecture focused on architectural and social insights into photovoltaic energy applications, including societal acceptance and perceptions. It highlighted the benefits and challenges of adopting solar energy solutions in the Jordanian architectural landscape under the title "Green Technology and Solar Aesthetics: Sociological Insights into Architectural Photovoltaic Applications in Jordan."
