Cycling Championship at Al-Ahliyya Amman University
The Deanship of Student Affairs, Division of Sports Activity, organized a Cycling Championship for Al-Ahliyya Amman University under the auspices of the President of Jordan Cycling Federation, Mr. Jamal Fa'ouri. This Championship is hosted in line with Al-Ahliyya Amman University vision related to fostering talented students in various types of sports and improving their technical performance and skills. A number of the University students of various faculties and programs took part in the race. The students dealt with this competition with focus, determination, high enthusiasm and challenge to win the title. The commissaire of the competition was the President of the Jordanian Cycling Federation, Mr. Ahmad Jaghbeer. The results of the race in male student category were as follows: first place: Mousa Mohammad Ali of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, second place: Ahmed Abdel Jawad of the Faculty of Information Technology , third place: Omar Adel Sit Abouha, of the Faculty of Administrative & Financial Sciences, fourth place: Ali Ghaleb Erekat, of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Finance. The results of female student category were as follows: first place: Hind Qasoum, of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, second place: Zainab Al-Hajri of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, third place: Tuqa Nazek of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, fourth place: Noura Lawzi, of the Faculty of Nursing. At the end of the championship, the President of Jordan Cycling Federation, Mr. Jamal Fa'ouri, handed over the championship trophy and medals to the winners. Commemorative shields were exchanged between the administrations of the University and the Federation.
