Cultural exchange between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and TOGU University of Turkey

The Global Engagement Center at Al-Ahliyya Amman University received Dr. Mahmut Cengiz from Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGU) Turkey, who will spend a week at the university giving lectures to students of the Faculty of Business within the global faculty mobility program supported by the Erasmus+ program. The Vice President for External Affairs and Quality / Director of the Global Connectivity Center, Prof. Anas Al-Saud, received the university's guest, Dr. Cengiz, in the presence of the Deputy Director of the Global Connectivity Center at the university, Dr. Fairouz Abu Swailem. It is worth mentioning that Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University is a public university located in Tokat Turkey, with 35,000 students studying in 13 faculties. TOGU University operates within the vision of being a transparent and participatory university that produces information and technology, and contributes to the economic, social and cultural structure of Turkey and the region. Dr. Cengiz is a faculty member at TOGU University and will lecture in Business Technology, Public Relations, Media and Advertising, Digital Marketing, Communication Science and Professional English. Dr. Cengiz has held several positions in the public and private sectors and is an expert in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, with more than 25 years of experience in these fields. During Dr. Cengiz's residency, he will collaborate with faculty members at the Faculty of Business Administration and will also conduct lectures on “Perception of Reality in Social Media; the Spread of Fake News in Social Media, Internet Legislation and Lockdowns in Turkey”. The Faculty Mobility Program is a testament to the commitment of both TOGU University and Al-Ahliyya Amman University to promote academic excellence and promote knowledge exchange between institutions. The Dean of the Faculty of Business at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Fayez Haddad, honored Dr. Cengiz in the presence of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Sultan Al-Masaeed, the Head of the Business Technology Department, Dr. Ali Al-Tarawneh, the Head of the Digital Marketing Department, Dr. Malik Al-Saud, and the faculty member, Mr. Omar Al-Hourani.
