Concluding the events of “Personal Status Law” Course for Druze religious court judges
The events of the “Personal Status Law” Course for Druze religious court judges were concluded yesterday. The course was organized in collaboration between the Faculty of Law and Amman Undergraduate Studies Office. The President of the University distributed certificates to the participating Sheikhs, judges and lawyers. Acknowledgment certificates were also distributed to lecturers. The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Najem Rabadi, presented an overview of the course events and lectures delivered in it. Judge Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Druze community, delivered a speech in which he thanked and expressed his sincere gratitude to Al-Ahliyya Amman University and HE Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University. For his part, Dr. Hamed welcomed the participants and wished that this course will be the start of continuous cooperation between the University and the Arab communities in Jordan.
