Cinema, Television, and Theater Design Department Wins Best Supporting Actor Award at the Arab Horizons University Theater Festival in Muscat

Hossam Hazem, a member of the administrative staff in the Cinema, Television, and Theater Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 10th Arab Horizons University Theater Festival in Muscat. This award was presented for his role in the play "The Bald Soprano", with dramaturgy and direction by Kamal Shawish, and production by the Theater Arts Department at the University of Jordan. The festival, held from April 12 to 16, 2025, witnessed the participation of numerous university theater troupes from various Arab countries. The jury for this prestigious festival included prominent figures in the Arab theater scene who evaluated the participating performances. This event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the Jordanian university theater experience within the evolving Arab cultural landscape.
