Chinese Language Students at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participate in Chinese Cultural Exhibition Opening
Students of the Chinese Language Program at the Languages Department, Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Horses Herald the Spring,” held in celebration of the Year of the Bing-Wu Horse at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, accompanied by Mr. Nasri Abu Khader.
The exhibition was officially inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Guo Wei, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Jordan, and Her Royal Highness Princess Wijdan Al-Hashemi. During the event, attendees were introduced to the symbolism and cultural significance of the horse in Chinese civilization and its historical meanings.
The activity received enthusiastic engagement from Al-Ahliyya Amman University students, as it provided a valuable opportunity to explore an important aspect of Chinese culture and promote intercultural exchange and understanding.
This participation reflects the Languages Department’s commitment to enriching students’ cultural and linguistic experiences through involvement in international and cultural events that broaden their global perspectives.
