Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahliyya Amman University sponsors the conclusion of the Jordanian University Karate Championship for students
Under the auspices of Dr. Maher Al Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities and Mr. Mazen Al-Qutb, President of the Jordanian Karate Federation, the Jordanian University Karate Students Competition concluded on Monday evening, 2022/1/3. The Championship, which was organized by the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities, in cooperation with the Jordanian Karate Federation, was held at the Arena Sports Complex/Al-Ahliyya Amman University during the period 2022/1/3-2.At the end of the championship, Dr. Maher Al Hourani presented a commemorative shield to Mr. Mazen Al-Qutb, President of the Jordanian Karate Federation, in recognition of his support for the activities and championships of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities.The student teams who won in the general total of points were crowned, as with Al-Ahliyya Amman University won first place in the female student championship with 6 colored medals distributed as follows: 2 gold - 1 silver - 3 bronze, the University of Jordan came in second place, and the University of Philadelphia came in third place.At the male students level, the University of Jordan won the title of the championship after winning 6 colored medals distributed as follows: 5 gold and 1bronze medal. The Hashemite University came in second place and Balqa Applied University came in third place.It is worth mentioning here that Mr. Hisham Jabr, Vice President of the Jordanian Karate Federation, Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, Secretary General of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities and Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and Dr. Aziz Al-Rahamneh, Dean of Student Affairs at Balqa Applied University, participated in the coronation of the winning teams.
