Celebration of Mothers with Cancer on Mothers Day at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Under the auspices of HRH Princess Dina Mired, Director General of King Hussein Cancer Foundation, represented by Ms. Madeline Salaq, Program Director at KHCF, and in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, Deanship of Student Affairs/Career Qualification Office of King Abdullah II Fund, in collaboration with KHFC, hosted a celebration of Karama Battle and Mothers Day. 30 mother with cancer were hosted, and songs and Dabka were performed in the ceremony. The attendants blew Mothers Day cake candles together with the mothers. This ceremony is organized through “Message of Hope” Program which makes students active members in the community and is in line with the orientations of the University to qualify students professionally, culturally and socially and develop social responsibility among them. At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University presented gifts to the mothers participating in the ceremony.
